About

I set up Life Of A Digital Mum to share my experiences of being a working mum to a 4 year old little girl, in the hope that other working/work-at-home/freelance mums (and dads!) can relate to my posts. I would also like to think that parents thinking about returning to work or going freelance may find some of my blog posts helpful.

My name is Sarah, I’m mid-30’s, married and we live on the south coast of England. I have a background in Graphic Design and for the last 8 years have worked in website management, digital marketing and social media. I went back to work part time after having my daughter in 2011, but rather than gradually increasing my hours as she has got older I’ve taken on freelance social media marketing clients in my “spare time” so that I can be around more to do the school runs etc. This is a new step for us as a family and there will be plenty of posts about how it goes!

If you have children, don’t take parenting too seriously, and have a love for social media and technology then I think you might like this blog – if you do please ‘follow’ to be kept up to date with my posts.

I am by no means a parenting expert, but I’ve been a mum for 4 years now and have survived life with a newborn, a toddler and a pre-schooler without anyone getting seriously hurt, so I do have a few tips and stories to share. Our daughter has recently started school and I am sure there will be plenty of posts to come about this new part of our lives!

If you would like to know more or get in touch you can email me at lifeofadigitalmum@gmail.com – or use any of the social media icons to the right.
